1) Featured Product:  Engine Analyzer v3.4B, Std and Plus  About 2 years ago we released a major update to Engine Analyzer, the v3.4B.  This is the popular "little brothers" to our Engine Analyzer Pro engine simulation. Most of the time was spent to tweek the performance calculations to be a little more accurate.  In addition, we added other features to improve the program's overall ease of use, and updates to take advantage of newer computers.  Enhancements include:

• Several refinements to the performance calculations have been made to be more accurate.  This especially affects results predicted when changing cam specs like exhaust opening, overlap, etc.
• The program has added Direct Injection option for Combustion Chamber design, and Roots Supercharger types of Modern Screw Type and Modern 2000+ Screw Type, similar to Engine Analyzer Pro.
• The program has about 100 more example Complete Engine files.    click here for a list of new and old engine files.
• The program has hundreds more example components, like Heads and Camshafts. GM LS Cams and Heads are now separate categories.
• Several new Preferences have been added to allow the screens and fonts to be enlarged and repositioned for better viewing on newer, high resolution computer screens.
• The Program now checks the configuration file after it is written and makes a backup copy. If a problem is sensed in the configuration file the next time the program starts, the backup configuration file is used. 
• The method for displaying a PDF file (like the User Manual) has been updated to be more compatible with more operating systems. 
• Several changes to the Optimize feature have been made, so that more accurate answers can be found for more possible combinations. For example, the program now assumes the optimum cam durations are larger if the RPM range for the calculations is high.

If you have one of our older Engine Analyzers and would like to purchase the update v3.4B, send us an email requesting it.  As with all our programs, you are able to download the latest version over the top of your existing version using the "Refresh" installation option.  This way you can always have the latest version of 3.4B if we make minor updates through the years.  NOTE:  If you install v3.4B over the older v3.4A and then decide you want to go back to v3.4A, you will have to install the v3.4A again.

The update from standard v3.4A to standard v3.4B is $75, from Plus v3.4A to Plus v3.4B is $95, from standard v3.4A to Plus v3.4B is $140.  If you have something older than v3.4A, send us an email for pricing.
