1) Suspension (coil) Spring Software Updates  We offer a retro-fit kit to computerize most any coil spring tester or coil spring rater.  The software is based on our very popular Valve Spring Tester software.  The kit includes a length sensor, load cell, logger and software.  You can add these sensors to your existing tester and now get accurate and professional results for testing your suspension springs, coil springs, and even testing anti-roll bar rates.

We recently added some features to the v1.1 C.039, which include:

• Now the program shows text in Test Options to explain what the Low and High Force Heights are and how to make measurements for accurate data.
• A new Report Type of Force vs Height Details" has been added.
• Now if you select to write an ASCII file of the new Force vs Height Detailsreport, the check box of Include Text is converted to Include Height so you can include the heights producing the forces.
• The font of the Data Table has been reduced. Now if you print a graph and the number of data points is over 14, the printed data will not overwrite itself.

A couple of new features which were already in v1.1C include:

• You can pick if the spring you will test is a Standard Linear (smooth curve) or Non-Linear (bent).  A Non-Linear (bent) spring is one where a 2nd spring like a bump spring is encountered part way through the test.  Your choice here to match your spring will greatly improve the test accuracy.
• There's an option on the Recording screen "Adjust Length Sensor" where you can adjust the spring height to read whatever you want at it's current height.  It is similar to the re-zero option for the load cell reading.

If you click on File at top of screen above, you can export this data as an ASCII file, with one option being a .csv file for use in Microsoft Excel (tm)

If you have one of our older versions of Suspension Spring software v1.1A or 1.1B and would like to purchase the update v1.1C, send us an email requesting it.  As with all our programs, you are able to download the latest version over the top of your existing version using the "Refresh" installation option.  This way you can always have the latest version of 1.1C if we make minor updates through the years.  NOTE:  If you install v1.1C over the older v1.1A or 1.1B and then decide you want to go back to the older version, you will have to install the v1.1A or 1.1B again.

If you already own an earlier version of our Suspension Spring software, the update from Plus version 1.1A to 1.1C is $250, from 1.1B to 1.1C is $150.
