Re: Performance Trends Newsletter (updates) (Sorry, but we missed July and August. We weren't quite ready to
release these updates, but now in September we are.)
------------------------------------------- 1) TDC Checking Bridge for Cam Test Stand We've released a new accessory for the Cam Test Stand, our TDC Checking Bridge. This fixture lets you measure the location of the dowel pin or keyway in your cam. Then knowing where the dowel pin is located with respect to TDC in the engine, the program can tell you how the cam will be timed in the engine using standard timing gears. Click here for some pictures, pricing and details. This feature is only available in the Plus version of the Cam Analyzer software. Click here for details on the Cam Test Stand and the Plus Version of the Cam Analyzer Software. ------------------------------------------- 3) Message Board/Discussion Forum on Website We've added a new feature to the website, a discussion forum. Now you can share your experiences, data files, and questions with other users of our products. You can also ask us questions directly, and we can post responses for others to see. It also has a search feature, so you can locate answers to questions other users may have asked. The board includes several topics, about half dealing with Performance Trends products and the other half for general Engine Building and Racing discussion. Click here to visit it, register as a user and post your questions or comments. We also have links to the Message Board at the top of our home page, and under the Support and Our Users drop down menu topics. ------------------------------------------- 4) New Lower Price on DT2-AFG Air Fuel Gauge We've just lowered the price on the A/F gauge from $329 to $299. Isn't technology great! Same great product, just lower price. It still includes our exclusive FREE software so you can log A/F to your PC if you want, or just watch the gauge in your dash. Click here for info on our DT2-AFG gauge and software. ------------------------------------------- 5) National Kart News Article National Kart News August 2007 had a pretty extensive article Building Your Own Flow Bench and the Tool of the Month: our Black Box II.
